Beyond likes

Comments tell you what people want next

A comment section is free market research: product questions, objections, requests and praise. The Instagram Comment Analyzer turns a long thread into a short, evidence-backed brief.

Themes with evidence

Recurring topics are grouped and counted, and you can open the comments behind each one. Nothing is summarized without a source.

Questions and objections

See what people ask about price, sizing, shipping or availability, and what holds them back, so you can answer it in your next post.

Ideas you can post

Content and reply ideas grounded in the comments, plus a copyable summary and a CSV of every comment with its theme and tone.

How it works

How the Instagram Comment Analyzer works

  1. 1

Paste a post or Reel link

Any public post or Reel works, in any language. Sign in first; no Instagram password is needed.

  2. 2

    We read the comments

We collect the first pages of public comments, up to about 55, in the order Instagram ranks them.

  3. 3

    AI groups and labels them

Each comment is labeled positive, neutral or negative and sorted into themes. Questions, concerns and ideas only appear if they cite real comments.

  4. 4

    Review, export, reply

Open the supporting comments, filter by theme or tone, export the CSV and copy the summary into your notes.

Guide

How to get the most out of the Instagram Comment Analyzer

Scrolling through hundreds of comments is slow, and the loudest replies are rarely the whole story. This guide explains what the Instagram Comment Analyzer reads, how to interpret themes and tone, and how to turn what people say into posts, replies and product decisions.

01

What an Instagram comment analyzer should tell you

A good Instagram comment analyzer does more than count emojis. It should tell you what people keep talking about, what they ask, what stops them from buying or trying something, and what they want to see next, with the real comments behind every point.

That last part matters most. Every theme, question, concern and idea in the report links to the numbered comments that support it, so you can check the evidence yourself instead of trusting a vague AI summary.

02

How to use the Instagram Comment Analyzer step by step

Sign in and paste the link of any public post or Reel, in any language. The Instagram Comment Analyzer reads the first pages of public comments, up to about 55, in the order Instagram ranks them, then groups them into themes and labels the tone of each one.

The report is saved to My Queries, where it reopens for free. From there you can filter the comments by theme or tone, export a CSV and copy a short summary into your notes or a client update.

03

Reading themes, questions and tone

Themes are sorted by how many comments belong to them, so the biggest conversation comes first. Questions and concerns are listed separately because they are the most actionable part of any comment section: each unanswered question is a caption, a story or an FAQ waiting to be written.

Tone is counted from per-comment labels, not estimated in one go. Positive covers praise and excitement, negative covers complaints and distrust, and neutral covers tags, emojis, questions and everything else. If too few comments can be labeled, the Instagram Comment Analyzer shows the comments without an AI summary and charges nothing.

04

Turning comments into content and replies

Start with the questions. Answer the most common one in a pinned reply, then turn the next two into a carousel or a short Reel. Concerns about price, sizing, delivery or trust usually deserve a direct post, because people who don't ask often share the same doubt.

The ideas section suggests posts and replies grounded in what commenters actually wrote. Running the Instagram Comment Analyzer on a competitor's best post is also one of the fastest ways to learn what their audience wants and isn't getting.

05

Who uses an Instagram comment analyzer

Creators use it to find the questions their audience keeps asking. E-commerce brands use it on launch posts to spot objections before they turn into returns. Social media managers and agencies use the CSV and summary to report community feedback to clients without copying comments by hand.

Because it works on any public post, the same Instagram Comment Analyzer is useful for research: checking how people react to a trend, a product or a campaign in your niche.

06

What the analysis can and can't show

Busy posts have far more comments than the sample, and Instagram returns its most visible comments first, so the report states exactly how many comments it read and leans toward popular replies. Sarcasm, slang and coordinated spam can still be misread.

Comments are treated as untrusted text: instructions written inside a comment are ignored, and nothing is summarized without a source. Private accounts and hidden comments can't be analyzed, and the account you look up is never notified.

Instagram Comment Analyzer FAQ

How the analysis reads comments, and its limits.

What does the Instagram comment analyzer do?

It reads the public comments on one post or Reel and groups them into themes, questions, concerns and content ideas, with the tone of each comment. Every item links back to the comments it came from.

Does it read every comment?

Not on large posts. It reads the first pages Instagram returns, up to about 55 comments, and shows exactly how many it read out of the total. Instagram ranks comments, so the sample leans toward the most visible ones.

How accurate is the sentiment?

Sentiment is an AI label on each comment, so sarcasm and slang can be misread. The percentages are counted from those labels over the comments read, not estimated for the whole post.

Which languages work?

Comments can be in any language. The summary and labels are written in the language you use on this site.

Can I analyze a competitor's post?

Yes, any public post or Reel. Private accounts can't be analyzed, and nobody is notified.

What does it cost?

One analysis uses the credits shown on the button. If there are too few comments to analyze, or the AI step fails, the comments are still shown and no credits are used.

Is my report private?

Yes. Reports are saved to your account only, and reopening them is free.
